Huge raccoon living in abandoned house at 67 Winchester Avenue. It was out on the roof during the daytime, acting very skittish and scratchy for a while before disappearing into the house at the top of the roof. Could animal control be sent to evaluate the situation and take appropriate action, especially if the raccoon or its family is rabid? Additionally, what are the regulations surrounding abandoned houses, infestations, and environmental/public safety (boarding up entryways, demolition, etc.). Thank you!
